EPIC Program Director, Brennan Collins, and EPIC Rap Map Lab undergraduate, Panther Lattimore, joined a roundtable discussion on Hip Hop and Education in Marseille, FR this past April.
This year’s Hip Hop Society festival in Marseille will honor the bridges being built between the two cities by City/Cité Atlanta x Marseille with events such as: MarsTlanta, an art installation by former Villa Albertine resident Djellali El Ouzeri aka DJ DJEL, featuring the Atlanta Rap Map (Georgia State University); a panel discussion on hip hop and education with Brennan Collins from Georgia State University; and a performance with Atlanta’s freestyle rap collective, Soul Food Cypher.
