The EPIC Program is supported by a generous grant from the Teagle Foundation.
The EPIC Program leads Faculty Development Workshops throughout the year to encourage faculty to highlight interdisciplinary connections in their courses and provide opportunities for project-based learning.
The Online Interdisciplinary Library (OIL) allows faculty to create and share course materials that make connections between disciplines. This library of resources will allow faculty to search for relevant material and directly import it into iCollege.
EPIC Freshman Learning Communities allow incoming GSU students to experience integrative and project-based learning in their first semester. After two years, participating students have higher GPAs than non-EPIC students.
Wicked problems are real world issues - like Democracy in Crisis or Environmental Justice - that are complex and have no clear or easy solutions. The Wicked Problems Project will create interdisciplinary iCollege modules and in-person forums around these issues.
