Homelessness Resources
The homelessness lab allows students to develop alternative solutions to one of the world’s most complex social problems. We are working on providing evidence-based research (both qualitative and quantitative) that determines the faults and strengths of implemented programs in different countries across the globe. Students are asked to develop alternatives to suggest a more sustainable and effective solution to abolish homelessness globally. This semester, we have teamed students into three groups and asked them to reflect on current policies locally, globally, and nationally. Students will then analyze those policies and create alternative suggestions to the existing policies for a country of their choice. We will then debate the policy strategies suggested by each team at the end of the semester to determine which group has developed the most efficient and sustainable solution to end global homelessness.
